Sierra Cascade Family Opportunities is a private non-profit corporation founded in 1989. Our sole purpose is to provide child development programs in the four counties of Plumas, Sierra, Lassen and Modoc.
SCFO operates 9 Head Start programs in four counties. In Lassen County we have four centers serving 140 children and their families. In Plumas County we have three centers serving 53 children and their. families. In Modoc County we have one center serving 20 children and their families.
We employ 54 staff who live and work in the local communities.
